Yoga Flow
We explore yoga in a flowing combination of stretch and strength, opening and restoring to find a place of ease, focus and meditation. Classes are creative and varied, drawing and combining a wide range of traditions under the umbrella of ‘Hatha’ yoga including Sivananda, Kundalini, Scaravelli, Vinyasa Flow, to name a few. Our focus is to connect, with the body, the breath, the heart and the spirit. All levels are welcome. Online classes also available.

Iyengar
Iyengar yoga helps to cultivate a mind-body-spirit connection while building strength and flexibility. Developed by B.K.S Iyengar, we place emphasis on positioning, precision and alignment. The use of a variety of props make this practice accessible for all, as it can be adapted to suit the needs of the individual. Small adjustments to the physicality of the practice have profound effects on the body, mind & emotions. The class is therefore suitable for all levels.

Yin
Yin Yoga is a slow paced style of yoga; postures are held between 3 and 5 minutes. This practice holds profound physical and mental benefits. By working deep into the fascial networks and joints, Yin Yoga addresses the stiffness and inflexibility that come with aging or a sedentary lifestyle. Classes also emphasize the many spiritual and mental benefits of Yin, helping students achieve a meditative state during postures, reducing stress and anxiety, and promoting overall well-being and mindfulness.

Yin Yang Yoga
These sessions are a beautiful blend of two in one. The first half of class is a flowing and challenging Vinyasa to bring out the Yang.
The second half of the class is holding deep stretches for a little longer to find the stillness of Yin.
Beautiful blend!

Chair Yoga

Through a gentle and individualised approach, we focus on building strength, improving mobility and developing great awareness for body, mind and spirit through the connection of breath.

Qi Gong
Qi Gong is an ancient form of exercise/meditation from China. Refined over thousands of years, it is the study of relaxation in stillness and movement. Focusing and finding peace of mind through breath, meditation, cultivating Chi, and studying good body mechanics. It is an easy, approachable form of exercise for people of all capabilities and ages.

Yoga for Sport
Yoga for Sport focuses on mobility, strength and balance for people looking to integrate the benefits of yoga into their active lives. These supportive and inclusive classes will encourage an exploration of the body through mindful movement and an understanding of the breath and its importance for focus and presence. Anatomical understanding will underpin a development of awareness of Self. Both strength and mindset are imperative when moving towards a stronger You. Yoga for Sport provides a balanced and holistic approach to wellness.

Beginner’s Yoga
All are welcome as we begin. Postures are explained and explored as we slowly build our physical practice. Each week, we delve deeper into the physicality of yoga, understanding our own needs and developing strength, flexibility and mobility. Simple breathing techniques support movement and begin creating an awareness of the Self. We learn and grow together within an inclusive and welcoming community as you are given the time and space to understand your own physical, emotional and spiritual self.

Pilates for Strength
Pilates is incredibly effective for building strength. Utilising the whole body to engage in effective exercises with focus on proper alignment, we enhance overall body control, balance and stability, posture, mobility and alignment, all of which are essential for functional strength. Classes target multiple muscle groups simultaneously with an emphasis on a strong and stable core. We combine slow, precise movements to feel strength, with quick and powerful movements. This means that both slow and fast twitch fibres of the muscles are worked. We combine high intensity work, which increases respiratory rate, with slower paced strength and stretching to enhance all aspects of the physical self.

Tai Chi Inspired class, for beginners
Tai chi is a practice that involves a series of slow gentle movements and physical postures, a meditative state of mind, and controlled breathing. Tai chi originated as an ancient martial art in China. Over the years, it has become more focused on health promotion and rehabilitation.
